Box Score MONTICELLO, Ark. – Arkansas-Monticello returned to Great American Conference play on Friday, falling in straight sets to Southwestern Oklahoma.
 
The Bulldogs commanded the first set, winning easily 25-11. However, the Blossoms proved to be a tough out for the remainder of the match.
 
UAM kept the final two frames close before losing in hard-fought contests 25-21 and 25-23.
 
The loss puts the Blossoms' record at 2-18 on the year and 0-6 in league play. Southwestern Oklahoma improves to 12-4 and is now 5-1 in conference matches.
 
UAM returns to the floor on Saturday at noon against Great American Conference opponent Northwestern Oklahoma.
