MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team will hit the road for a pair of Great American Conference games on Friday and Saturday. The Blossoms will head to Weatherford, Oklahoma on Friday for a 6 p.m. game at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and conclude its weekend with a game in Alva, Oklahoma for a 12 p.m. meeting at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

UAM is coming off a heck of a victory on October 3rd against Arkansas Tech. The Blossoms defeated ATU in straight sets snapping the Golden Suns' 10-game winning streak. It was the first time since 2009 that the Blossoms defeated Arkansas Tech.
UAM sits tied for eighth currently in the conference standings with Henderson State. The top eight teams based on win-loss percentage make the conference tournament at the end of the regular season.
The Blossoms currently have a trio of players over 100 kills for the season.
Leslie Polanco and
MarKayla Dickie are nearing 200 with Polanco at 185 and Dickie at 179.
Halli Lambert has added an even 100.
Katie Pearson has been the team's key distributor. Even after missing a couple games, she is still at 423 assists on the year. Polanco has added 79 of her own, and
Katelyn Richbourg and
Jessica Mahan have added 45 and 40, respectively.
Mahan has also been solid on serves totaling 19 aces.
On defense, Polanco and Mahan are over 200 digs this season with Polanco at 225 and Mahan at 218.
Taylor Calhoun and
Zealia Kleitz have combined for 89.0 blocks with Calhoun leading the way with 48.0 and Kleitz adding 41.0. Dickie has also pitched in with 39.0

Morgan Maicee has been the team's offensive leader averaging 3.31 kills per set and has a total of 179.
The Bulldogs do have three other players with at least 90 kills including Brylee Burroughs (95), Chezney Nielsen (92) and Jenny Tackett (90).
Allie Hoang is the team-leader in assists with 423.
Kaitlyn Dillon has been solid on defense with 290 digs, while Burroughs and Sofia Gruden have 40 blocks and 43 blocks, respectively.

Kaydee Honeycutt and Kiauna Clark both are averaging 2.97 kills per set with Honeycutt posting 199 and Clark adding 178 total kills.
They have been aided by one of the top distributors in the conference in Kaitlyn Robinson who has 535 assists.
Syndee Miller is a key defensive component with 327 digs.
Jennifer Eubanks has been solid at the net averaging 1.25 blocks per set and totaling 79.0 blocks.
