DURANT, Okla. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team earned a victory on the road in Durant, Oklahoma on Saturday in a matchup against Southeastern Oklahoma State University. It was the team's second of two road wins in Oklahoma this weekend after beating East Central University on Friday night.

The Blossoms took control of the match early winning the first set, but shortly after, Southeastern leveled the score at one set apiece. UAM then fought back to win the next two sets to earn the victory.

UAM used a six-point run early in the first set to give them a cushion. With the Blossoms behind, 8-7, Leslie Polanco then received an assist from Katie Pearson to tie the match up. Following an attack error, Halli Lambert registered a kill. The Savage Storm then recorded a bad set and Polanco followed that up with a service ace. UAM would finish the run after an attack error from Southeastern gave them a 13-8 advantage. They never looked back eventually winning set one, 25-18.

After a set two loss, 25-22, UAM looked to answer back in the third. Right from the beginning the momentum was on the Blossoms side going ahead early, 5-0. The Blossoms eventually pushed the lead to 10-3, and later went on a six-point run getting the score to 17-4. Southeastern earned three more points in the set, but they were not nearly enough to get back in it as UAM won it, 25-7.

SEOSU did make things tougher in set four. UAM led early, but it was fairly tight throughout with the Blossoms largest lead in the set being no more than six points. However, six points was all UAM needed to close out the match winning set four, 25-19.
