UAM NOTES
The Blossoms enter Tuesday's contest looking for a big win as we near the end of the regular season. UAM is in eighth place looking to make the GAC tournament.
If UAM make the GAC Championship Tournament, it will be the first time the Blossoms have played in it since 2016.
The Blossoms next four opponents have a combined record of 21-27 in GAC contests.
Tuesday will be the second time UAM and SAU have met this season. The Blossoms won that first matchup 3-1 in Magnolia, Arkansas on September 26.
Two of UAM's attackers in
Leslie Polanco and
MarKayla Dickie have tallied over 250 kills this season with Polanco totaling 292 and Dickie posting 259.
Katie Pearson has added 42 kills but has been known for her setting abilities registering a team-best 744 assists.
Jessica Mahan is the team-leader in service aces at 33, and on defense she has 405 total digs.
UAM has a quartet of players with at least 200 digs in Mahan, Polanco (314),
Katelyn Richbourg (234) and Pearson (218).
Three of UAM's athletes have been impressive at the net.
Zealia Kleitz,
Taylor Calhoun and Dickie all have over 70.0 total blocks with Zleitz posting 75.0, Calhoun recording 71.0 and Dickie registering 70.0.

The Muleriders Seven Powers and Morgan Gross are each over 200 kills this year with Powers tallying 246 and Gross adding 209.

On defense, Alana Perez has an average of 4.03 digs per set and has totaled 266 total digs.
Abby Bermudez and Gross are the team's key blockers with 43 and 46 blocks, respectively.
