UAM NOTES
The Blossoms enter Thursday's contest looking for their fifth straight victory as we near the end of the regular season. UAM is tied for eighth place looking to make the GAC tournament.
If UAM makes the GAC Championship Tournament, it will be the first time the Blossoms have played in it since 2016.
Thursday will be the second time UAM and Harding have met this season. The Lady Bison won that first matchup 3-0 in Monticello on October 26.
Leslie Polanco and
MarKayla Dickie are the team's top attackers with Polanco totaling 300 kills and Dickie posting 259.
Katie Pearson has added 42 kills but has been known for her setting abilities registering a team-best 778 assists.
Jessica Mahan is the team-leader in service aces at 36, and on defense she has 420 total digs.
UAM has a quartet of players with at least 200 digs in Mahan, Polanco (325),
Katelyn Richbourg (240) and Pearson (224).
Three of UAM's athletes have been impressive at the net.
Zealia Kleitz,
Taylor Calhoun and Dickie all have over 70.0 total blocks with Zleitz posting 77.0, Calhoun recording 72.0 and Dickie registering 70.0.

Logan Smith has been the team's top attacker with 315 total kills and averaging 3.83 per set.
The Lady Bison have a pair of setters with over 300 assists in Sarah Morehead with 626 and Arika Johnson at 329.
HU's Katherine Cowart has been solid to begin sets totaling 37 service aces.
On defense, Cowart also has been solid averaging 4.49 digs per set and 413 total digs.
The key blockers for the Lady Bison are Libby Hinton and Kelli McKinnon tallying 69.0 and 66.0 total blocks, respectively.
