MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's basketball team will look to snap its six-game losing streak when it travels to Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Thursday. The Weevils will then hit the road again to play at Southwestern Oklahoma State University on Saturday. Tipoff on Thursday is set for 7:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday following the women's games.

SCOUTING THE WEEVILS
Last time out, the Weevils lost to Oklahoma Baptist University at home, 80-77, while the Rangers defeated Arkansas Tech University on the road, 67-64. SWOSU will play Southern Arkansas on Thursday, but last Saturday they defeated Harding University in Searcy, 95-73.
The Weevil offense and rebounding capabilities have still been their bread and butter. The Weevils are third in the country in total rebounds (854), 21st in rebounds per game (13.5) and 23rd in scoring offense (86.2 ppg). UAM has also dished out 317 total assists which is 27th in DII.
UAM is shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from downtown this season. They are also shooting 75.6 percent from the free-throw line.
