On Thursday, the Weevils will play at Oklahoma Baptist University at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday the men will battle at Southern Nazarene University at 3 p.m.

SCOUTING THE WEEVILS
The Weevils are coming off a tough loss at home against Southeastern Oklahoma State University, 73-71. It was a tight battle throughout, but ultimately a late push by the Savage Storm resulted in the UAM loss.
Despite the loss, UAM did clinch a Great American Conference Tournament berth. However, seeding is yet to be determined for the teams in the tournament with the race being too close to call.
UAM has now clinched at GAC Tournament berth in four consecutive seasons.
¬Earlier this season, UAM lost at home against both Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma Baptist in close games. On January 23rd UAM fell in overtime against SNU, 62-61, and on January 25th, the Weevils lost a three-point game to OKBU, 80-77.
UAM's offense has been the story this season as the Weevils average 84.3 points per game while surrendering 76.4 per contest for a +7.9-scoring margin. UAM is shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from downtown.
On the boards, UAM remains one of the best teams in NCAA Division II ranking 27th in rebounds per contest (39.5). They are outrebounding opponents by +5.6 holding them to 34.0 per game.
KJ Lesure continues to lead the scoring attack for UAM averaging 18.8 points per game while also distributing 5.9 assists per game. He also gets 1.8 steals per contest on defense.
Marcus Gilbert has been racking up the minutes for the Weevils leading the team at 38.1, which is eighth best in DII. He is scoring 14.0 points per game while shooting 45.4 percent from the field and 36.6 from downtown.
On the glass,
Denzel McDuffey averages a team-best 7.9 rebounds per game while
Justin Slocum snags 7.0 per contest. McDuffey has also been one of the top defenders in the GAC leading the league in blocks (35) and in steals (60).

Oklahoma Baptist has also clinched a spot in the GAC Tournament with a 13-7 conference mark. They have won four straight dating back to February 13th. In those four contests were two overtime wins against East Central University and Arkansas Tech University.
The Bison are scoring 79.3 points per game while holding opponents to score 74.3 per contest which is good for a +5.0-scoring margin. They are shooting 45.1 percent from the field while opponents shoot 34.9 percent from downtown.
On the glass, they are outrebounding opponents 37.6 to 32.9 which is good for a +4.7-rebounding margin.
Jaquan Simms and Rashad Lewis are the team's top scorers averaging 12.5 and 12.2 points per game, respectively.
