MONTICELLO, Ark – The University of Arkansas at Monticello softball team will travel to Delta State University for a pair of mid-week road contests on Tuesday beginning at 1 p.m. The doubleheader will be UAM's final pair of non-conference games of the regular season.

BLOSSOM NOTES
UAM is coming off a series win over Northwestern Oklahoma State University from Monticello on Friday and Saturday. After winning their first two games Friday, they split with the Rangers on Sunday.
The bats still continue to be pretty solid for the Blossoms this season as they are hitting .289 (161-for-557) as a team with 110 RBI.
Four players are hitting at least .330 on the roster including
Caroline Tedder (.355),
Hannah Holdbrook (.349),
Sydney Webster (.345) and
Sierra Gasca (.333).
Tedder is 22-for-62 and leading the team in home runs (5), RBI (23), slugging percentage (.661) and walks (10).
Webster is second in RBI on the roster with 19 and carries a .564 slugging percentage and a .446 on-base percentage.
In the circle, the Blossoms have struggled thus far in 2020 carrying a 5.29 ERA (107 ER in 141.2 IP).
Alexis Pevehouse has been the team's top hurler carrying a 4.25 ERA (31 ER in 51.0 IP). She is 4-4 this season with two complete games, three combined shutouts and one save.
Hayley McGhee has a 5.11 ERA (27 ER in 37 IP) and has a 4-3 record with a pair of complete games. She also leads the team in strikeouts with 24.

LADY STATESMAN NOTES
Delta state has had a tough go of it thus far in 2020 with a 5-15 record and they have lost six in-a-row.
DSU is batting .228 (111-for-487) with 11 home runs and 48 RBI on offense while pitching to a tune of a 5.83 ERA (103 ER in 123.2 IP).
They are led by Taylor Picou on offense batting .367 (18-for-49) with four home runs and nine RBI.
Callie Newman is batting .267 (12-for-45) with a pair of triples and a double with five RBI.
Olivia Burns is 2-10 this season with a 4.09 ERA allowing 45 ER in 77.0 IP. She's also tallied 42 strikeouts.
