MONTICELLO, ARK. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Volleyball team hosted Harding University for their final match of the season on Thursday. The Blossoms played just three sets, falling to the Bisons.
UAM finishes out the 2021 volleyball season with an overall record of 9-20 and a 3-13 record in conference play after falling to the Bisons.
Though the Blossoms fell in three sets, you could tell that each senior was enjoying every little moment on the court that they could.
The opening set began with the Blossoms falling behind first, but quickly putting themselves back into it. The Bisons would eventually capitalize on UAM mistakes, taking the set 25-19.
The second and third sets both began very similar to the first, with UAM fighting to keep themselves in line with the Bisons. Harding would take every opening they found in UAM's game and would capitalize on them. Inevitably the Bisons would take the two sets 25-16 and 25-15.
Jamie Agnew and Riley Krenek led the Blossoms in kills with 8 each.
Mia Smalls contributed 16 assists in the match.
Defensively, the Blossoms were led by Katelyn Richbourg pacing the team with 21 digs.

We want to take this time to thank you for the years of hard work and dedication that you gave to not only the volleyball program, but for your commitment and trust in UAM.
Though your time as an athlete at UAM may be coming to end, your life is only just beginning. We hope you enjoy the rest of your time at our university, and look forward to seeing the spectacular things you accomplish after your departure.
