WEATHERFORD, Okla. - The UAM Men's basketball team left the gym Saturday with a dominant win under their belt, taking down Southwestern Oklahoma State University on their home court, 71-51.
The Weevils were very successful on defense, holding SWOSU to just 25% shooting field goals as a team and forcing 8 turnovers. UAM would out-shoot the Bulldogs, putting up 40.8% on field goals and a 41.2% for shots beoynd-the-arc.
Josh Williams was the lead scorer for the Weevils, finishing with 20 points. UAM would make the first basket of the match on a three pointer from Wesley Booker.
