CABOT, AR. – The Arkansas-Monticello women's golf team completed the final day of the Natural State Classic on Tuesday afternoon, after having played two rounds at the Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Arkansas. UAM finished the first round tied for 6th, and closed out the final round of the tournament in 9th place.
Chiara Sturaro led the Blossoms throughout the tournament. She finished the tournament tied for 9th and carded 10-over for the event.
Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen competed individually in event, shooting a 76 in round 1 and a 79 in round 2. She finished the tournament tied for 13th.
Worawalan Siwaiyapram finished tied for 29th place. She shot an 80 in round 1, followed by an 79 in round 2.
Shehna Akbary started out the tournament with a first round 78. She finished round 2 with a score of 85.
Gabriela Maldonado finished tied for 54th place, shooting an 83 and 84 in her two rounds.
Kensley Miller was the final blossom to compete, finishing tied for 68th. She shot a round 1, 84, followed by an 89 in round 2.
UP NEXT
The UAM women's golf team will return to action on March 13th when the Blossoms open play at the Hillcat Classic hosted by Rogers State University in Owasso, Oklahoma.
