HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Arkansas-Monticello men's golf team closed out the final round of the 2022 Great American Conference Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday afternoon. After completing the three day tournament, the UAM team finished the tournament in 7th place.
Chase Gedak led the Weevils throughout the tournament. He finished the event with a 20th place finish and carded 8-over for it's entirety, carding a 77 in both round 1 and 2, and a 70 in round 3.
T.J. Baker shot a 78 in round 1, a 76 in round 2, and a 71 in round 3. He finished the tournament tied for 21st.
Julian Audibert also competed for the Weevils, carding a 77 in round 1, followed by a 76 in round 2, and a 77 in round 3, finishing tied for 29th.
Andrew Pearson finished tied for 33rd place. He shot a 78 in round 1, followed by a 79 in round 2, and a 75 in the final round.
Ethan Bearden was the final Weevil to compete in the GAC Tournament, finishing tied for 33rd as well. He shot a round 1, 80, followed by a 77 in round 2 and a 75 in round 3.
