MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello softball team hosted East Central University for a senior day doubleheader on Friday. The Blossoms came out of game one with an 9-6 loss to the Tigers, followed by a 7-5 loss in game two.

Scoring Recap:
East Central was the first team on the board, scoring a run in the first on an RBI single, followed by a three run home run in the second to give the Tigers a 4-0 lead.
Bailey Camp drove in a single run in the second with her first career home run, followed by a single run in the third on an RBI single from
Kennedy Cox.
The Tigers saw a two-run home run to center field in the fourth to extend their lead to 6-2.
UAM responded in the bottom half of the inning with two runs of their own on an absolute bomb over the wall in left from
Sophie Wood.
The fifth inning saw an RBI single from ECU, followed by two Blossom home runs. Senior
Hannah Holdbrook and
Kennedy Cox both drove solo home runs in the inning to shorten the Tiger lead to one heading into the sixth.
East Central scored the final two runs of the game in the last two innings, scoring one in the sixth on an RBI single and a home run in the seventh.
Arkansas-Monticello's four home runs on the game proved not enough as the Blossoms would fall to the Tigers, 9-6.

East Central once again scored first, putting up a run in the first on a bases loaded walk.
The Blossoms responded in the bottom half of the inning on a
Bailey Camp single through the four hole.
ECU scored a single run in both the second and the fifth, regaining a 3-2 lead after an RBI double and a wild pitch.
Hannah Holdbrook tied up the game in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single, followed a double from
Kennedy Cox to bring her home.
Sophie Wood scored the Blossoms fifth run on a single to right.
East Central scored four runs in the top of the seventh and UAM was unable to respond, resulting in a 7-5 loss to the Tigers.
