BENTONVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Softball team saw seven Blossoms earn honors on the All-GAC teams and awards as announced by the league office before the kick-off of the 2023 GAC Championship Tournament on Thursday.
UAM saw junior outfielder
Kennedy Cox receive All-GAC First Team honors and redshirt sophomore
Bailey Camp earned Second Team after their performance throughout the 2023 season. The Blossoms also saw six players bring in the Distinguished Scholar Athlete Award; including
Bailey Camp,
Maguire Estill,
Madison Gardiner,
Madison Morrissey,
Grace Neal and
Lexie Smith.

Cox, a Groesbeck, TX native, comes to UAM from Bossier Parish Community College. On the year, Cox ranked second in batting average, slugging percentage, RBI and total bases while leading with 20 doubles. She currently leads the Blossoms with a .414 batting average, a .697 slugging percentage, 50 RBI, 60 hits, 20 doubles and 101 total bases.
Camp is currently in her third season with the UAM softball program after joining from Perryville High School. She is entering the GAC tournament with a .357 batting average in 126 at-bats and a .414 OBP. with 29 runs scored.
