MONTICELLO, Ark. - Blossoms Volleyball (4-13, 0-7 GAC) returns home for end-of-week conference action against the Bison of Oklahoma Baptist University (10-9, 4-3 GAC) on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m., before a Friday, Oct. 19, afternoon match against the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene University (4-14, 1-6 GAC) at 4 p.m.
"Two games back to back isn't easy on anybody's body or mental," said Head Coach Arlica Ortiz.
"It takes a lot of preparation. We're making sure we're conditioned well & mentally tough while giving ourselves ample breaks to make sure that we're good to go. I look forward to utilizing everybody as much as possible, keep legs fresh, pressure down, & everybody locked in."

Oklahoma Baptist University: OBU took the last match at home 3-0 (9-25, 10-25, 18-25) in Shawnee, Oklahoma on October 13, 2023. Former Blossom
Stasha Adams led UAM with eight kills, while
Abrielle Jordan recorded eight kills in the match. Bruna Siliva assisted on attacks for the green and white with 14. The Bison led in all categories holding Arkansas-Monticello to a .000 hitting percentage on 21 kills, 22 digs, 20 assists, and 5 blocks. This would be the sixth consecutive loss, and a 3-0 loss, to the Bison.
Southern Nazarene University: SNU was victorious over Arkansas-Monticello at the Sawyer Center in Bethany, Oklahoma on Oct. 12, 2023, winning 3-0 (18-25, 20-25, 16-25).

Jordan Wehr led the night for the Blossoms, with Adams recording 12 digs and Wehr assisting in 11 attacks.
Abrielle Jordan led UAM in kills with eight, while
Natalie White recorded four blocks.
All-TIME SERIES
Oklahoma Baptist University: The Bison of OBU lead the all-time series 7-1, dating back to the first match in October 2015. At home in Monticello the Blossoms are 0-4 inside Steelman Fieldhouse, and 1-3 on the road in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The lone victory for the Green and White against the Bison came in 2016 in Oklahoma when they defeated OBU in a 3-2 (25-20, 22-25, 25-18, 22-25, 15-9) thrilling win. The match above is also the only one to have reached five sets, with every match since 2017 being a 3-0 losing sweep.
Southern Nazarene University: The Crimson Storm lead the Blossoms in the all-time series, holding an undefeated 12-0 record over UAM. Arkansas-Monticello and SNU first met in October 2012 in Bethany, Oklahoma with the Blossoms losing in three. The Blossoms are 0-5 at Steelman Fieldhouse, 0-6 in Bethany, Okla., and 0-1 at neutral sites.

- The Blossoms went 0-2 last week, starting with a loss to Northwestern Oklahoma State University, 3-2 (25-21, 25-17, 20-25, 16-25, 18-20), on Thursday, Oct. 10, followed by a 3-0 (18-25, 8-25, 11-25) loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State University on Friday, Oct. 11.

- Jasmine Welton and Jalen Scroggins recorded new season highs on kills with 18 and six respectively.

- Holiday Ellis recorded her second double-double of the season with 18 kills (career high) and 18 digs, both being season highs.
- Jordan Wehr posted her fourth double-double of the season with 14 digs and 17 assists.
