BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - The University of Arkansas- Monticello Women's Golf team sit in 15th place after the first day of the Tulsa Cup at the Club at Forest Ridge Monday, hosted by Rogers State University. The Blossoms shot a 36-hole combined total of 650 (+74), while fellow GAC members Arkansas Tech and Harding sit within the top five.
Leading the Blossoms for the day was
Tori Milton, finishing tied for 15th with a score of 10-over par (154). Milton fired a first round at 2-over par (74) before a second round of 80 (+8).
Shehna Akbary carded a first-round of 4-over par (76) and a second-round score of 9-over par (81) to finish tied for 30th at 13-over par (157).
Ximena Paz finished tied for 69th with a score of 168 (+24), carding an 81 (+9) in round one and 15-over par (87) in round two.
Finishing tied for 82nd, 27-over par (171),
Natalie Van Dort fired a first-round of 9-over par (81) and a second-round finish of 18-over par (90).
Closing the day for UAM,
Cadee Glasgow finished in 92nd place with a two-round score of 178 (+32). Glasgow started the day shooting 88 (+16) in round one before closing with a score of 18-over par (90) in round two.
Arkansas-Monticello shot 14 birdies on the day.
Shehna Akbary led the day with five.

Tori Milton finished the first round with an eagle on hole 9 (par 5).
The Blossoms will play their final round on Tuesday, October 29th at 8:15 a.m.
