EDMOND, Okla. - The University of Arkansas-Monticello Women's Golf sits in 20th place after the first round of the Grace Shin Invitational at KickingBird Golf Club on Monday, Oct. 7, hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma. The Blossoms shot an 18-hole total of 313 (+33), while fellow GAC member Harding sits in second, posting an 18-hole total of 288 (+8).
Shehna Akbary leads the Blossoms one tied for 63rd place, after firing an 18-hole score of 7-over par (77).
Freshman
Tori Milton finished the day with a final round one score of 78 (+8), tied for 73rd.
Mekdes Rozas and sophomore
Natalie Van Dort are tied for 81st, after shooting 9-over par (79), through 18 holes.
Ximena Paz closed out the day for UAM with a first-round total of 80 (+10), tying for 91st.
The Blossoms will play their final round of the tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 8th at 8:30 a.m.
