Blossoms Dominate in Final Non-Conference Game

MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello women's basketball team played the final pre-conference game of the 2024-25 season on Saturday afternoon in a home game against Arkansas Baptist College. The Blossoms came out of the match-up with a dominant 84-24 win over the Lady Buffaloes.

Bailey Harris once again led the way for Arkansas-Monticello (5-1), scoring 13 points in the match-up. Harris hit 5-17 field goals on the day, 1-5 three-pointers, and 2-2 free throws. She also contributed four steals, two assists, one block, and an offensive rebound.

Ella Masl followed close behind on the afternoon, posting 11 points of her own. Mask went 4-9 on field goals and 3-5 from range with six rebounds, four steals, and two assists.

Cha'myrean Ellis was the final Blossoms in double-digits, with 10 points in the game. Ellis was 4-12 in field goals and 2-3 on free throws with six rebounds, one steal, one block, and an assist.
 
Arkansas Baptist College was led by Chasity Woodard and Ah'jaia Kenner with 6 points each.

The Blossom offense dominated for the entirety of the game against Arkansas Baptist College. UAM held ABC to only nine points in the first quarter and seven in the second. The teams were sent to the locker room with Monticello on top, 37-16.

The second half was even more leaned in UAM's favor as the Lady Buffaloes would only post four points in each of the final quarters. The Blossoms reigned victorious, 84-24.

Arkansas-Monticello committed 14 turnovers in the entirety of the match.
