MONTICELLO, Ark. - Arkansas-Monticello's Men's Basketball team will close out the 2024 portion of their season on the road on Thursday, Dec. 19 as they continue GAC play against the Arkansas Tech University Wonder Boys. The in-state game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. inside the Tucker Coliseum in Russellville, Arkansas.
"We need to have a bounce back game," said Head Coach Chad Tapp. " We have played better in stretches last week and need to be able to put together a full game. Tech will be a big challenge, especially on the road. It's another opportunity for us to get better."

LAST MEETING
Arkansas Tech University - The Wonder Boys took the win in the last meeting, 50-67, on January 27, 2024. Zane Nelson led the way for Arkansas-Monticello with 16 points, going 4-11 on total field goals, 1-5 from beyond-the-arc, and 7-8 from the line. Nelson also contributed three rebounds, two assists, and three steals in his 37 minutes of play. Isaac Jackson followed close behind, posting 11 points of his own for the Boll Weevils. Jackson hit 4-9 total field goals, 2-4 threes, and 1-2 shots from the line with a rebound and a block.

Arkansas Tech University - The Boll Weevils trail the Wonder Boys in the all time record, 55-77, dating back to their first match in December of 1960.
