LAST MEETING
University of Arkansas - Fort Smith -
Arkansas-Monticello fell in three sets to the Lions on Tuesday, October 7 (17-25, 15-25, 19-25). The opening set began evenly matched with Arkansas-Monticello and the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith tied 7-7. The Lions responded with a couple of 5-0 rallies to push them into a 17-10 advantage. The Blossoms exchanged points back-and-forth with the Lions, trying to break the deficit, but UAM came up short as UAFS took the first set, 25-17.  Arkansas-Monticello saw themselves down early in the second set, 5-2, however, five consecutive points from the Blossoms would see them claim the lead. The Lions quickly responded, flipping the set in their favor, following a 4-0 rally. The two teams rallied back-and-forth to bring the set to 18-14. UAFS pushed forth scoring 7 more points over the next 8 serves to take the set, 25-15. The third set looked to be similar to the second with the Blossoms starting behind in the scoreboard, 5-2. The Lions' offense pulled ahead extending their lead, 14-8. The Blossoms would not give up, cutting the deficit to just two points, 21-19, but UAFS rallied to take the final set, 25-19, and the match, 3-0. UAM was held to a .111 hitting percentage on 48 digs, 33 assists, 2 blocks, 2 aces, and 34 kills.

Southern Nazarene University -  The Blossoms fell in the last meeting with the Storm, 3-1 (25-15, 17-25, 14-25, 20-25). The Blossoms came out strong, taking a 6-2 lead over the Crimson Storm early. SNU fought to put points on the board, 5-11. UAM took advantage of seven consecutive points to take a 13-point lead, 18-5. The Crimson Storm took full control of some UAM offense errors to cut the lead to eight, 19-11. Arkansas-Monticello would not back down, keeping the Crimson Storm at bay, winning the set, 25-15. In an opposite start to set one, Arkansas-Monticello found themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard, quickly falling behind, 8-2. The Blossoms added six points to cut the lead in half, 6-12, with the Crimson Storm responding with three to pull ahead once again, 6-15. UAM crawled their way back to a score of 17-23, but it wouldn't be enough as SNU would take set two, 17-25. The third set began with both sides of the net battling for control tied, 7-7. The Crimson Storm capitalizing on a nine-unanswered point rally would pull ahead of the Blossoms, 16-9. SNU would outscore UAM, 9-5, to win set three, 25-14. SNU started as a powerhouse against UAM, 11-6. The Blossoms scored on 11 of the next 19 serves to cut the Crimson Storms' lead to two points, 17-19. This last-minute rally proved fruitless, as the Blossoms scored only three more points, losing set four, 25-20, and the match, 3-1. The Blossoms were held to a .069 hitting percentage on 42 kills, alongside eight aces, seven blocks, and 110 digs.

Oklahoma Baptist University - UAM fell in three sets to the Bison in the last meeting in October of 2024, 3-0 (17-25, 16-25, 12-25). Arkansas-Monticello was on the board first, 1-0, but allowed the Bison to score two four-unanswered point runs early to take a, 6-10 lead. Despite the effort from the offense, the Blossoms could not break the deficit, falling behind the Bison 11-17. OBU pulled away to, 15-23, but UAM were able to hold them at bay, recording two points of their own, 17-23. The Bisons would hold back as an attack error and kill sealed the deal for a, 25-17 win for OBU. The Blossoms saw themselves down early, 6-5, however, four consecutive points for the Bisons would see them pull away to, 10-5. OBU would outscore UAM seven points to one to take the lead, 17-8. The Blossoms brought the score to, 16-23, due to kills from Kerrigan Biggs and Valeria Velez. This last-minute rally from UAM did not provide much as the Bison were able to take set two thanks to an attack error from the Blossoms' defense, 25-16. After an extended break, the Blossoms seemed to be in their best position of the night being up to the Bisons, 6-4. The early energy would not last, as the Blossoms allowed OBU to score eight consecutive points to cut the lead in half, 12-6. Those points would stall Arkansas-Monitcello, as they scored only six points compared to Oklahoma Baptist's eight, 12-20. The Bison scored another five unanswered to win the final set, 12-25, and the match 3-0
