LAST MEETING
Mississippi College - The Lady Choctaws were the winners in the last meeting, a doubleheader loss for UAM,  5-6 and 5-8. Mississippi College scored first in game one, scoring a run on an RBI single up the middle. Monticello responded in the bottom of the inning when Courtnee Sensibaugh scored on a dropped third strike and threw away the ball to first. Monticello scored once again in the bottom of the third, after a throwing error from the Choctaw catcher advanced Emmy Apodaca across the plate for the lead, 2-1. Mississippi College retook the lead in the top of the fourth with a two-run home run to center field. Monticello responded again in the bottom of the fifth when Tayvin Davis scored on a throwing error from the shortstop, and once again after an RBI single from Sensibaugh plated Kayla Richardson for the lead 4-3.  In the top of the seventh, the Choctaws tied up the game 4-4, scoring on a wild pitch. The Blossoms could not find the runs needed to take the lead, sending the game into extra innings. Mississippi College capitalized in the eighth, plating two of their runners after an RBI single and a SAC fly. Monticello came into the bottom of the eighth strong with an RBI single from Jadyn Hart to score Sensibaugh. The Blossoms were unable to put together any more runs in the inning, dropping game one to the Choctaws 6-5. In game two Mississippi College was the first on the board, posting a five-run inning in the first. The Choctaws kept their rally going in the second, homering twice to push their lead 8-0 over the Blossoms. The Blossom's offense came to life in the bottom of the third, as a 2 RBI single from Maggie Miller plated Adrianna Erichsen and Kammie Walker. Monticello chipped away once more at the Choctaws' lead in the fourth with a solo home run to left field from Bailey Groom, making the score 8-3. In the bottom of the bottom of the sixth, Monticello struck again with a double from Emmy Apodaca to bring home more runs for UAM. The drive brought the Blossoms within three as they trailed MC, 8-5. Despite the Blossoms' best efforts, they were unable to come back from the Choctaw's early 8-run lead, dropping game two 8-5.

Henderson State University - The Blossoms and Reddies split the last meeting on April 6, 2024, in Arkadelphia, with the Blossoms taking game one, 10-8, and the Reddies winning game two, 3-2. UAM was the first team on the board, scoring a run in the first on a ground ball from Grace Neal. The Reddies responded in the bottom half of the inning to bring the score back to even at 1-1. The Blossoms increased their advantage to 5-1 in the second, scoring a run on an error to take the lead, followed by a handful of ground balls that led to RBI. Over the bottom of the second and through the third, HSU was able to score five runs and take a 6-5 lead. Neal launched her first home run of the season in the fourth to push Monticello back into the driver's seat, but two runs in the bottom half of the inning for Henderson brought the Blossoms back to trailing. Ronnie Johnson gave the Blossoms hope in the seventh, tying the game on an RBI single that brought home Courtnee Sensibaugh. In extras the Blossoms tacked on to their lead, pushing it to a two-run advantage over Henderson at 10-8. The home team was unable to respond, resulting in a Blossom win and a conference series win locked in. In game two the Blossoms once again scored first in the, seeing Lexie Smith drive in two runs in the first on an RBI single to right center. Unfortunately, UAM was unable to get another run across the plate throughout the rest of the game. Meanwhile, the Reddies would put up a run in the fifth, and sixth, and would win the game on a bases-loaded HBP in the seventh.

ALL-TIME SERIES

Mississippi College - The Lady Choctaws lead in the record, 4-9. The first meeting between the two teams started in March of 1996 seeing the Blossoms take the first loss, 1-9. The first win for UAM would come the same day in the second part of the doubleheader, 9-3. The other three wins would be consecutive on March 18 and 20 of 1997 (3-0, 5-1, 15-2). The 15-2 win would be the largest margin in a win for the Blossoms in the history of the matchups. At home in Monticello the Blossoms are 4-5, while on the road they are 0-2. Through 13 games played the Blossoms have plated 54 runs, averaging 4.15 runs per game.

Henderson State University - The Blossoms lead in the all-time series 66-32, which dates back to the first meeting, a 17-1 win, in March of 1999. Between the first meeting and April 23, 2005, the Blossoms won 26 games straight, the streak would be broken by a Reddies 10-9 win. At home at Alvy Early Softball Field the Blossoms are 33-6, with a 28-25 record on the road, in conference play the record stands at 59-30 Blossoms. The largest margin of victory came in April of 2002 during the win streak, a 19-0 win for UAM. Through 98 games played 566 runs have been added to the board for the Blossoms, averaging 5.78 runs per game.
