FORT SMITH, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello women's golf team left round two of the GAC Championship on Tuesday afternoon at the Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The Blossoms hit a combined team score of 323 in round two and will enter round three in sixth place.
Shehna Akbary closed round two with a 76, matching her score in round one. She saw three birdies on the afternoon and will go into round three of the tournament tied for 8th place.
Tori Milton leaves round two with a 77. She will enter her third round tied for 10th place.
Renata Abad closed out the second round of the tournament with an 88. She will go into day three in 32nd place.
Ximena Paz improved three strokes from round one, shooting an 82 in her second 18. She saw two birdies on the day and will enter round three in 33rd place.
Natalie Van Dort rounded out the Blossoms, shooting an 89 on day two. She goes into day three tied for 43rd place.
The Blossoms will begin teeing off at 8:40 for the final round of the GAC tournament.
