ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Arkansas-Monticello's softball team closed out the final two games of their three-game slate with the Reddies of Henderson State University on Saturday afternoon. The Blossoms fell in the Saturday doubleheader, 7-2 in game one, and 2-1 in game two to drop the series, 2-1.

Henderson State was first on the board in game two courtesy of a UAM wild pitch.
Thanks to a Reddies error in the fourth,
Dacia Sexton crossed home to score the first run for the Blossoms in the game.
HSU added five runs in the fifth and one run in the sixth to make it 7-1, Reddies.
Zoe Bridges placed UAM's final run on the board in the 7th with a solo shot home run over the left center wall.

Kayla Olthouse was called from the bullpen and allowed three runs on four hits in her four batters faced.

The Reddies once again were first on the board off a single to left field.
Arkansas-Monticello's loan run came in the seventh as
Lexi Livezey singled, and a throwing error from HSU plated
Maddie Moore.
The final run of the series came via the Reddies and a single to center, ending the game 2-1, and the series 2-1 in favor of HSU.
