Scoring Recap:
Northwestern Oklahoma saw the first run of the series cross the plate in the second off a sacrifice fly to center field.
The Blossoms found themselves in the lead with a single to centerfield by
Ashlynne Vote that brought in
Jolie Bazan and
Maddie Moore. The third run of the inning saw Vote come in off a single to right field from Kylie Conicelli, taking the lead 3-1.
A fielder's choice at the top of the fifth cut the lead to just one, before adding a run in the sixth off a UAM error to tie it 2-2.
The tie did not last long as
Lainey Tippen sent a ball soaring over the left field wall to retake the lead in the bottom half of the inning.
Arkansas-Monticello held the Rangers off the board to record the win in game one, 4-3.

Dacia Sexton singled to right field to send home

Both teams held each other scoreless until the top of the seventh, when NWOSU scored three straight runs off back-to-back home runs and took the contest 3-1.
