UAM Athletics Now Accepting 2026 Hall of Fame Nominations

MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletics Department announced it is accepting nominations for the 2026 UAM Sports Hall of Fame Induction in the fall. Nomination forms will be accepted until May 1.

For over 25 years, the University of Arkansas at Monticello Athletic Department has celebrated the UAM Sports Hall of Fame. Since its introduction in 2000, the Hall of Fame has seen 111 student-athletes and coaches, 25 spirit-award winners, and seven teams recognized for their accomplishments and loyalty to UAM Athletics.

Among the inductees are football, men's and women's basketball, softball, baseball, and track and field athletes who stood out throughout UAM Athletics' history. Joining them are legendary coaches and supporters who have shown years of dedication to the department and its athletes.

The Arkansas-Monticello Athletic Department is accepting nominations for the class of 2026 from April 1 to May 1. The Induction ceremony will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, during homecoming week. Similar to previous years, the ceremony will be held in the Green Room of the John F. Gibson University Center on the west side of campus.

Inductees will also be recognized on Saturday during the homecoming game. The 27th Class of the UAM Sports Hall of Fame will be announced on June 1.

Come May 1, nominations will no longer be accepted, and a committee will vote on this year's nominations. The committee members involved are not UAM employees and will remain anonymous. A release will be sent out announcing those to be etched into the Hall of Fame following the completion of the voting process.

Nomination forms have been added to the website under the "Inside UAM" tab for both athletes and coaches. They will also be included at the bottom of this release.
