MONTICELLO, Ark. -- University of Arkansas at Monticello saw outfielder Camden Tanner named an Academic All-American.
The Boll Weevil slugger, who earned third-team recognition from College Sports Communicators, maintained a 3.62 GPA while pursuing his degree in criminal justice. On the diamond, Tanner slashed .451/.811/.524 with 15 doubles, one triple, 14 home runs, and 54 RBI in 39 games this season before his campaign was cut short due to injury.
Tanner receives the award on top of three All-American nods, including a third-team selection from NCBWA, a second-team from D2CCA, and a third-team from D2 Baseball.
