MONTICELLO, Ark. -- Season tickets for the 2026 UAM Volleyball campaign are on sale now, announced the UAM Athletics Department on Monday.
Entering her third season leading the program, Head Coach
Arlicia Ortiz is joined by new Assistant Coach Mirela Polete Vasconselos, who begins her first season with UAM Volleyball. The Blossoms will embark on their 22nd season of competition and their 16th year as members of the Great American Conference.
Support UAM Athletics by sponsoring a seat inside the newly renovated Steelman Field House, enhanced through the Legacy Campaign. Each sponsored seat will feature a personalized nameplate recognizing the individual, family, business, or organization supporting the seat. Sponsors purchasing multiple seats may choose to display a family or business name, such as
"The Smith Family" or
"ABC Company."
UAM Volleyball will begin the 2026 season on the road, competing in the Southern Arkansas Fall Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas University. The Blossoms will play their first four matches of the season during the tournament before returning home for their home opener. UAM will then welcome Arkansas-Fort Smith to Steelman Fieldhouse on Tuesday, September 1st, with first serve scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The matchup will mark the Blossoms' first home contest of the 2026 campaign on home court.
The Blossoms will then travel to Bolivar, Missouri, to compete in the SBU Invitational hosted by Southwest Baptist University. UAM will play four matches over the two-day tournament, taking the court on Sept. 4 and Sept. 5 as part of their early-season schedule. The Blossoms will welcome the Bisons of Harding University for their first home Great American Conference matchup. The Blossoms take the court September 8th at 6:00 p.m.
Arkansas-Monticello Volleyball will conclude their non-conference tournament schedule at the Washburn Invitational, a two-day tournament hosted by Washburn University. UAM will compete in four matches across Sept. 11 and Sept. 12 before traveling to Arkadelphia for a GAC matchup with the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist University on September 17th at 6:00 p.m.
UAM Volleyball returns to Steelman Fieldhouse for a pair of Great American Conference home matches. UAM will first host Arkansas Tech on Sept. 18 with first serve set for 4:00 p.m. The home stand continues on Sept. 22 as the Blossoms welcome Henderson State to Monticello for a 6:00 p.m. conference meeting.
The Blossoms hit the road for a four-match conference stretch beginning in Magnolia, Arkansas, where they will take on rival Southern Arkansas in a 6:00 p.m. match up on Sept. 29. UAM will then travel to Oklahoma for a pair of Great American Conference contests, facing East Central on Oct. 1 at 6:00 p.m. before closing the road trip against Southeastern Oklahoma State on Oct. 2, in Durant for a 6:00 p.m. meeting. Lastly, the Blossoms will end their road trips in Fort Smith, Arkansas for a non-conference matchup with the Lions of Arkansas-Fort Smith at 6:00 p.m. on October 5th.
Arkansas-Monticello Volleyball returns home for a pair of Great American Conference matches against Oklahoma opponents. UAM will first welcome Southern Nazarene to Steelman Field House on Oct. 8 for a 6:00 p.m. matchup. The home stand continues the following day as the Blossoms take on Oklahoma Baptist on Oct. 9 at 4:00 p.m., concluding a busy week of conference action.
UAM Volleyball will make its final trip to Oklahoma during the regular season with a pair of Great American Conference road matches. UAM begins the trip in Weatherford, Oklahoma, taking on Southwestern Oklahoma State on Oct. 15 at 6:00 p.m. The Blossoms will then make the short journey to Alva to face Northwestern Oklahoma State on Oct. 16, with first serve scheduled for 6:00 p.m. as the conference schedule enters its final stretch.
The second half of Great American Conference play begins with a road matchup against Harding on Oct. 22, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. After an extended stretch away from home, the Blossoms will return to Steelman Fieldhouse on Oct. 27 to host Ouachita Baptist at 6:00 p.m.
Following the home contest, UAM will start on its final road trip of the regular season. The Blossoms will first travel to Russellville to face Arkansas Tech on Oct. 31 at 6:00 p.m. before making the trip to Arkadelphia for a matchup against Henderson State on Nov. 3 at 6:00 p.m.
Arkansas-Monticello Volleyball will close out the regular-season home schedule on Nov. 5 as they welcome rival Southern Arkansas to Steelman Field House for a Senior Night game. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m. as UAM honors its senior class in the final home match of the season against the Muleriders.
