MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello Weevil volleyball team (2-13, 0-3 GAC) is preparing to welcome the Reddies of Henderson State University (14-14, 6-8 GAC) to Monticello on Tuesday, September, 22, at 6:00 p.m. for their fourth Great American Conference meeting for the season. 
 

All-TIME SERIES
Henderson State University -  This is the 42nd meeting between the Blossoms and the Reddies. Henderson State leads the series, 27-14. In the last meeting on November at home, UAM lost 3-2 (30-28, 13-25, 26-24, 25,18, 10-15). The Blossoms last beat the Reddies on September 15, 2022, with a 3-0 sweep in Arkadelphia. At home, the Blossoms trail 7-14. Away, they are behind 7-13. Their conference record is 13-27.

LAST MEETING
Henderson State University - Arkansas-Monticello took the opening set in a back-and-forth battle, defeating Henderson State, 30-28. The Reddies responded in set two, using multiple scoring runs to take the set, 25-13, and tie the match at 1-1. The Blossoms regained the advantage in a tightly contested third set, winning 26-24 to take a 2-1 match lead. Henderson State answered in the fourth, jumping out to an early lead before taking the set, 25-18, to force a decisive fifth set. The Reddies opened the final set with a 6-1 advantage and held off a UAM comeback to win, 15-10, taking the match, 3-2. UAM was held to a .138 hitting percentage on 93 digs, 51 assists, 9 blocks, 2 aces, and 55 kills

The Weevils are led on the court by; kills, Sophia Grubbs (137), aces, Ella Cline (22), digs, Isabella Garcia (154), blocks, Kylie Miller (23.0), and assists, Ella Cline (171).

The Weevils went 0-3 last time out, falling to the Golden Suns in three sets (13-25, 19-25, 14-25) at home on Friday, September 18, 2026.
