Rose State College: Returns to UAM this season after a brief stint at Rose State College in Oklahoma City, Okla… 8th in the nation in strikeouts per inning.

2011: Threw 47.2 innings as a sophomore at Rose State, striking out 65. His 1.36 K/ inning ratio was good for seventh in the nation in 2011. Only gave up 39 hits and walked 28. Led the team in strikeouts and was third in innings pitched.

2010: UAM Threw 18.1 innings as a true freshman for the Weevils. Garnered an 0-2 record with 1 save.

High School: 3 year letter winner for Coach Mark Jelks at Pine Bluff High School... 7A All Conference... also played Tennis for the Zebras... named Arkansas Scholar in 2008.

Personal: Son of Barbara Matthews... born April 25th, 1990... has one brother, Michael Lasley... majoring in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Computer Information  Systems.
