2011: Saw action in 17 games for the Boll Weevils as a junior, earning starts in 12… Hit .325 on the year (13-40) with 2 extra base hits, including a double and a homerun.

Southern Arkansas:  Spent the 09-10 season playing football at Southern Arkansas University

Dodge City Community College: Hit .299 with 5 homeruns and 33 rbi... was also 6-for-7 in stolen bases.

High School: Lettered for Coach Mike Lloyd at Arkansas High School in Texarkana… named All-American and All-Conference in baseball… also played football for the Razorbacks… All-State and All-Conference on the gridiron… a “merit graduate” from AHS.

Personal: Son of Jeanette and James Mitchell… born November 30, 1987… has one brother, Corey… majoring in Heath and Physical Education with a minor in Communications.
