2017-18 (Senior):  


2016-17 (Junior):  Appeared in 38 total match-ups during her third stint with UAM, earning starts in 36 of those games...Posted a .255 batting average on the year, while scoring 14 total runs, and recording five doubles...Ashton also tallied 13 runs batted in, and three home runs on the year. 


2015-16 (Sophomore):  Ashton earned a starting catcher spot in her second season with the Blossoms, starting in all 58 games...She posted a .274 overall batting average along with driving in 12 runs, and hitting five total doubles...Currey went on to finish the year with 23 runs scored, 48 hits, and four home run as well. 


2014-15 (Freshman):  Appeared in 38 total games in her first season with UAM, making starts in 29 of those contests...Currey recorded 10 runs scored, with 16 total hits, and six runs batted in as well. 


Personal: Attended Benton High School located in Benton, Arkansas where she earned numerous accolades including an All-Conference selection, All-State selection, All-Star Game selection, and earned the Drew Memorial Leadership Award in 2014, while a member of the softball program...Plans to major in exercise science, and psychology while attending Arkansas-Monticello...Ashton plans to continue her education in a graduate program for occupational therapy upon graduating from UAM.
