Trawick, Nicole (2014)

Nicole "Colie" Trawick

Nicole “Colie” Trawick was hired as the assistant women’s basketball coach at the University of Arkansas at Monticello in May of 2014.

Trawick comes to UAM after serving the past two seasons a graduate assistant turned assistant coach at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. She has also coached at Burlington County College, Pemberton Township High School and with the SJ Blitz AAU organization, all in the state of New Jersey.

While at CMU, Trawick specialized in coaching guards, scheduling, developing video scouting reports and recruiting. The 2012-13 CMU team jumped out to its best start in school history at 16-1, which included victories over two top 25 squads and NCAA Division I Chicago State. That season, the team had two eight-game win streaks, one shy of the school’s single-season record, and finished the year with a 25-8 overall record.

Trawick had an outstanding career as a student-athlete. As a freshman, she was a co-captain standout on the hardwood for Bluefield State College (W. Va.) before transferring to USC-Upstate for the opportunity to play NCAA Division I soccer.

Trawick earned her bachelor's degree in communication from Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. She recently completed her master's degree in education from CMU.
