KINGSTON, Okla. -- The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's golf team finished in 13th place of 14 teams at the Texoma Championship played this past Sunday-Tuesday at the Chickasaw Point Golf Course in Kingston, Okla.
UAM's Theodor Karlsson led the Boll Weevils in a tie for 55th place with a three-round total of 242, including his best score of 76 in Sunday's first round. Brooks Ashcraft and William Trawick tied for 64th place with a total score of 248. Ashcraft's best round of 77 came on Monday, while Trawick posted a score of 80 in the first round.
Ari Magnusson and BlakeCarr rounded out the UAM field with a tie for 68th and 70th, respectively. Magnusson posted a three-round total of 252, while Carr posted a 253.
Oklahoma Christian took home the team crown at a plus-eight total of 872, led by second place finisher Jared Consoli's 216. Southwestern Oklahoma State finished second, led by individual medalist Taylor Howie, who posted scores of 74, 70 and 70 for a three-round total of 214.
