MONTICELLO – University of Arkansas at Monticello basketball coaches Allen Sharpe and Tanya Ray recently visited with uamsports.com to discuss their upcoming non-conference games.

Sharpe and the Boll Weevils (4-4) are preparing to host Delta State (2-4) and Southwest Baptist (2-7) inside Steelman Fieldhouse for the team’s final non-conference games of the 2012-13 season. UAM hosts Delta State this Saturday, December 15 for a 4 p.m. tipoff, and concludes the 2012 portion of the schedule on Monday, December 17 against Southwest Baptist at 7 p.m.

The Boll Weevils defeated Delta State 51-48 in Cleveland, Miss. on November 20, and lost to Southwest Baptist 78-69 on November 15 in Bolivar, Mo.

Ray and the Cotton Blossoms (2-6) travel to Tahlequah, Okla. on Tuesday, December 18 to wrap up the 2012 portion of the schedule against Northeastern State (4-4).
