MONTICELLO, Ark. -- Lauren Bogle joins the University of Arkansas at Monticello women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach, as announced by Head Coach
David Midlick.
Bogle arrives in Monticello after spending the 2025-26 season as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Eastern Illinois University. While at EIU, she assisted in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, scouting, player development, academic monitoring, and game preparation. She also served as the program's technology liaison, overseeing platforms like Synergy, NOAH, and FastScout, while helping organize the team's community service and team-building activities.
Prior to Eastern Illinois, Bogle spent the 2024-25 season at Western Colorado University, where she helped guide one of the nation's top turnarounds at the NCAA Division II level. The Mountaineers improved from seven wins to 21 victories and finished second overall in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). During her time at Western Colorado, she served as Recruiting Coordinator and assisted with player development, scouting, compliance, academics, social media operations, travel coordination, and fundraising.
Bogle also brings head coaching experience at the junior college level. She served as Head Women's Basketball Coach at John Wood Community College from 2022-24, leading the program to its most successful season since 2012. Under her leadership, the Trailblazers posted a 17-13 record, earned a fourth-place conference finish, and advanced to the conference semifinals while recording two victories over nationally ranked opponents.
Before her time as Head Coach at John Wood, Bogle spent the 2021-22 season as Head Women's Basketball Coach at Lamar Community College. The two seasons prior to taking the helm of the Runnin' Lopes, Bogle saw a two-year stint at John Wood as an Assistant Coach from 2019-21.
She also gained coaching experience at the junior high and travel basketball levels, serving as a girls' basketball coach at Shiloh Junior High and as head coach of an elite travel basketball team based in Paris, Illinois.
As a player, Bogle competed collegiately at Lake Land College, where she earned NJCAA All-American honors and scored more than 1,000 career points. As a Laker, she helped guide the program to a national tournament berth in the 2011-12 season, where she was the team's leading scorer as a freshman while earning Freshman of the Year honors. She was named All-Conference and All-Region as a sophomore and earned Third Team All-American honors in 2012-13, averaging 14.3 points. 7.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. She continued her playing career at the University of South Carolina Upstate, where she played in 43 games for the Spartans from 2013 to 2015.
Bogle earned her bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2015 and is a native of Brocton, Illinois.
