Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The UAM Cotton Blossoms closed out the regular season this afternoon at Ouachita Baptist, falling to the Lady Tigers 92-67.

The Tigers (17-9, 10-6 GAC) led from the tip and never trailed as they shot 47-percent from the floor, including 12 three pointers. The Blossoms (11-15, 7-9 GAC) shot 36-percent on the day and could never catch up to the hot-handed Tigers.

The Blossoms trailed 50-36 at the half and got down as many as 33 in the second half before closing the gap back down to 25 at the end.

Chelsea Johnson led all scorers with 20 points in 38 minutes off 6-of-14 shooting, including 4-of-6 from three. Channon Haywood and Alex Hart also finished in double figures with 15 and 13 points, respectively. The Tigers had six players in double digits with Nashia James leading the way with 15 points in 18 minutes.

The Blossoms have secured the sixth seed in the upcoming GAC Basketball Tournament in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They will take on the three-seed OBU Tigers at noon on Friday.
