MONTICELLO — Tuesday’s home baseball game against Lyon College has been rescheduled for a 2 p.m. first pitch to allow for an extra hour of field preparation after expected rainfall hits the Monticello area tonight.

Tuesday’s game against Lyon College will close out a seven-game home stand for the Boll Weevils, who have won six games in a row following this past weekend’s three game Great American Conference sweep over Northwestern Oklahoma State. UAM is 7-3 overall and 3-0 in conference games. Lyon is 8-2 overall and has won seven games in a row, most recently posting a four-game sweep over the University of St. Francis this past weekend at home.
