Bethany, Okla. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's basketball team was taken down by Southern Nazarene Saturday afternoon on the road by a final score of 91-74. 

 

• #23 UAM falls to 3-1 (1-1 GAC) on the season.
• SNU improves to 3-0 (2-0 GAC) overall on the year. 
  
   

• Derylton Hill:  18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists
• Cobe Goosby:  18 points, 3 rebounds
• Jamil Maddred:  13 points, 4 rebounds
• Karim Mawuenyega:  10 points, 3 assists
  
   

• The Weevils only held a lead once in this match-up, during the opening half at 4-2 over the Crimson Storm.
• SNU began to generate multiple runs including a 16-4 scoring run to see Southern Nazarene hold a 20-8 advantage midway through the half. 
• The home squad held a 42-31 lead over UAM at the half, with the Weevils shooting 36 percent overall as a team. 
   
   

• Arkansas-Monticello was able to cut the SNU lead down to just five points at 55-50 with 13:00 minutes left to play in the second half after a Cobe Goosby made jumper. 
• However, Southern Nazarene continued to use its momentum from the first half of play to surge ahead into a double-digit advantage and ultimately take the game over UAM at 91-74. 
  
   

• The Weevils will face Texas College next in what will be the home opener this season for UAM on Tuesday, November 21 inside Steelman Field House with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
