Bethany, Okla. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello women's basketball team was defeated Saturday afternoon by the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene, 59-49 in Bethany, Oklahoma.

  • UAM started to pace the opening quarter of play towards the end of the period with a three-pointer from Taylor Collins, and a layup by Nina Kizzee for the 14-9 lead over SNU.

  • Arkansas-Monticello continued to build its lead in the following quarter, with the largest lead at 30-12, after two made free-throws by Brittnee Broadway.
  • The Blossoms went on to hold a 32-20 advantage at the half, and shot 42 percent as a team during as well.
