MONTICELLO - The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team was defeated twice Thursday evening at home, by both Ouachita Baptist, and Grambling State. 

• Final game scores from the match-up were 13-25, 20-25, and 18-25 in favor of the Tigers. 
• Arkansas-Monticello dropped to 10-19 (2-12 GAC) this season. 
• OBU improved to 17-10 (8-6 GAC) overall this year. 
   

• Maggie Pyles  led the Blossoms in total kills with 11 in the contest.  
• Toryn Cox provided 19 assists in the match along with 14 digs as well. 
• Macy Mitchell tallied 14 digs also, along with two assists, and one service ace.

• UAM falls to 10-20 (2-12 GAC) in the 2017 season. 
• Grambling State improves its record to 15-19 (8-7 SWAC). 

• Pyles once again led UAM's offensive attack with 20 total kills and complied a .341 hitting percentage.
• Mitchell led UAM in total digs as she added a match-high 25 to her stat-line. 
• Toryn Cox contributed 41 total assists in the contest, and one block assist.
• Vanessa Pawlak also recorded double-digit kills with 12 on the evening. 
  
   

• Arkansas-Monticello will be in action next on Tuesday, November 7 as the Blossoms will face GAC opponent Henderson State in Arkadelphia, Arkansas with first serve set for 6:00 p.m.
