MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team will be on the road again to face Great American Conference opponent Henderson State in a three-game series Friday and Saturday in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

SCOUTING HENDERSON STATE
HSU enters the week as the number four team in the GAC, posting a 2-1 record against East Central at home last weekend. Leading the Reddies offense on the year has been Hayden Lessenberry with a .337 batting average. Lessenberry leads Henderson State in various other categories including total hits (35), doubles (9), slugging percentage (.481), and on base percentage (.440). Dylan McCain provides some offensive power as well leading the program in home-runs with three and runs batted in with 20 overall. On the mound HSU is guided by Bryant Haralson with a 1.25 earned run average, total strikeouts with 57, and 50.1 total innings thrown on the season. Haralson, Luke Tebbetts, and Chris Hunt each have totaled five wins a piece up to this point in the season as well.
