MONTICELLO - The University of Arkansas at Monticello volleyball team earned two wins on the day, as the Blossoms downed Crowley's Ridge College and Mississippi Valley State each at home in a tri-match on Tuesday.

• Final game scores from the match were 25-9, 25-18, and 25-14 with UAM picking up the victory.
• The Blossoms improved to .500 overall on the year at 3-3.
• Crowley's Ridge falls to 0-4 on the year.

• Arkansas-Monticello dominated in several team statistical categories in including service aces (10), blocks (5), assists (32), and total kills (33).
• Toryn Cox totaled 15 assists in the match, which was her sixth straight match with 10 or more assists as well. 
• All 16 UAM Blossoms saw time in this match-up against the Pioneers.
• Vanessa Pawlak led UAM with eight total kills, and posted an attack percentage of .571 (8-for-14 overall).
• Macy Mitchell provided 13 digs in the contest to aid the Blossoms on defense.

• Maggie Pyles totaled 19 kills in the match-up, setting a new career high for the sophomore. 
• Pyles also set a career high in total digs in a single match with 20 on the evening.
• Junior Shayna Daniels tied her career high in assists on the night with 29 overall.
• Senior Macy Mitchell recorded a game high 25 digs in the contest as well. 

• UAM will next hit the road to take on the Tigers of Ouachita in Arkadelphia, Arkansas next Tuesday, September 12 in the Blossoms first GAC match-up of 2017, with first serve scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
