MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team fell to the Bison of Oklahoma Baptist Saturday afternoon at Weevils Field, by a final score of 7-6. 
 

• Final Score: Oklahoma Baptist 7 - Arkansas-Monticello 6 
• UAM moves to 14-5 (10-2 GAC) overall this season. 
• The Bison jump to 14-7 (8-4 GAC) on the year. 
   

• Jordan Johnson — 3-for-5, 1 home run, 2 RBI, 1 run, 1 double
• Brady Weiss — 1-for-5, 1 home run, 1 run, 1 RBI
• Sean Wagner —  1-for-4, 1 home run, 2 RBI, 1 run
• Garrett Dodd —  1-for-2,  4 walks, 1 run 
   

• Peyton Sullivan —  6.0 IP,  4 strikeouts, 5 walks, 3 hits
• Jake Keily —  2.0 IP,  2 strikeouts, 1 earned run
• Ty Jones  —  0.1 IP,  2 walks, 3 earned runs
• Jared Libke (L, 2-1)  —  0.2 IP,   1 strikeout, 1 earned run
   

• 4th Inning: Johnson crushed a two-run home run to left field, giving UAM the 2-1 advantage.
• 5th Inning: Wagner belted a home run of his own to center field, extending the home lead out to 4-1. 
• 7th Inning: Brodie Threet hit a sacrifice fly out to right field, which would score Borman from third base, putting the score at 5-2. 
• 8th Inning: Brady Weiss capped off the UAM scoring with a solo shot home run to right center field, for the 6-3 advantage. 
  • The Bison went on to score four total runs in the top of the ninth inning, and take the game over the Weevils at 7-6. 
     

• The Weevils will next take on Southern Arkansas University in a non-conference match-up, Tuesday, March 13 in Magnolia, Arkansas with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
