ALVA, Okla. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team took down Northwestern Oklahoma State Friday night on the road by a final score of 9-4.

  • 1st Inning: Ray got the Weevils on the board to begin this match-up with a three-run blast down the right field line. 
  • 4th Inning: Jordan Johnson singled through the left side of the field to knock in Borman for the 4-0 lead. 
  • 4th Inning: Drake Rowton then doubled to left center to score Rios, extending the lead out to 5-0. 
  • 4th Inning: Brady Weiss reached base on a fielder's choice which saw Johnson cross the plate for the 6-0 advantage. 
  • 4th Inning: Dodd finished off the big inning with a RBI single to left, to bring home Rowton.  
  • 7th Inning: Wagner pushed the UAM lead out to 9-1 with a triple to right field to score two runs, and the Weevils claimed the victory at 9-4 overall.
