ALVA, Okla. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team split the afternoon with Northwestern Oklahoma State Saturday, dropping game one 7-3, and winning game number two, 11-8.

  • 5th Inning: Ray doubled down the left field line to knock in a run as UAM trailed NWOSU 7-1. 
  • 5th Inning: Wagner singled through the left side to see Dodd cross the plate, putting the score at 7-2.
  • 5th Inning: Johnson reached base on a fielder's choice, as Ray was able to score on the play. 
  • 6th Inning: Ray provided a RBI single to continue the scoring for the Weevils, trailing the Rangers 7-4. 
  • 6th Inning: Dorman added a RBI single through the left side to put the NWOSU lead at 7-5. 
  • 6th Inning: Rios then singled to right center to see Wagner come home as the deficit stood at just 7-6. 
  • 6th Inning: Johnson cracked a double to left to bring home two runs to take an 8-7 lead. 
  • 9th Inning: Sean Wagner hammered a three-run home run in extra innings to fuel the Weevils out to an 11-8 lead and take the game over Northwestern.
