JACKSON, Tenn. — The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team defeated the Bulldogs of Union University Tuesday afternoon, by a final score of 14-2.

• UAM improves to 21-7 overall. 
• Union drops to 10-20 on the year.

• 1st Inning: Dodd began the match-up with a solo shot to left for the 1-0 early advantage. 
• 2nd Inning: Drake Rowton was able to cross the plate from third on a wild pitch. 
• 2nd Inning: Austin Brakebill scored after a double steal call saw Dodd thrown out at second base, but Brakebill crossed the plate for the 3-1 lead. 
• 3rd Inning: Borman added a RBI single to left field to knock in a run to put the score at 4-1. 
• 3rd Inning: Rowton provided a sacrifice fly to right which saw Rios and Weiss come home for the 6-1 lead. 
• 3rd Inning: Brakebill doubled to left field which then scored Borman to take the 7-1 advantage. 
• 4th Inning: Dylan Borman continued to drive in runs with a two-run single through the left side of the field. 
• 5th Inning: Ray blasted a two-run home run to extend the lead out to 11-1 overall.
• 5th Inning: Dodd crushed his second home run of the day in the next at-bat to push the lead to 12-1.
• 5th Inning: Weiss was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to see Johnson come home.
• 5th Inning: Borman capped off the UAM scoring after reaching safely on the Union error to drive in a run, as the Weevils finished the game off in seven innings, 14-2. 

• Arkansas-Monticello will next take on Henderson State University in a three-game GAC series this weekend, with game one slated for Friday, March 30 at Weevils Field with the first pitch set for 3:00 PM.
