COMMERCE, TX. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello Women's Basketball team falls to the University of Texas at Tyler in their second match at Texas A&M University - Commerce.

The first half of the match was a back-and-forth affair with both teams trading buckets. The Blossoms trailed the Patriots 21-16 at the end of the first quarter, and though UAM was able to bring the game back to a 1 point difference in the second quarter, they were unable to stop the UT-Tyler team as they would tack onto their lead. The two teams would head to the locker room with the score at 40-30.

The third quarter had the biggest difference in score as the Blossoms were only able to score 9 points in comparison to UTT's 27 points.

The fourth quarter was a winning quarter for UAM, but it was not enough to take back control of the game as the would inevitably fall to the Patriots 86-63

Taylor Flores finished as the leading scorer for the Blossoms tallying 21 points in the game.

UAM will be back in action Thursday evening in Arkadelphia, Arkansas as they open up the 2021-2022 Great American Conference play aganist Henderson State University. The game is set to start at 5:30 PM.
