MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Men's basketball team came out with a win Saturday over Harding University. The Weevils looked like a force to be reckoned with as they cruised through the Bisons with a 71-57 victory.

The first half may have started slow for the Weevils, as Harding was able to take 6-2 lead over UAM. This didn't stop the weevils as they would go on a 23-0 run to take an incredible 25-6 lead over HU. The Weevils would continue their domination for the remainder of the first half, heading to the locker room with a 31-15 lead over the Bisons.

Coming into the second half, the Weevils came out hungry and ready to continue their push. Though Harding would out-score the Monticello boys 42-40 as they finished the second half, it proved to be not enough as the Weevils would take the victory 71-57.

Josh Williams led the charge posting 15 points and 5 rebounds.

Richard Feagin, Cole Anderson, and Ray Price also finished in double digits tallying 13, 11, and 10.

Defensively, the Weevils registered ten steals and one block while forcing HU into sixteen turnovers.
