FINAL RESULTS
CABOT, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's golf team finished 14th out of 19 teams at the Natural State Classic Tuesday from the Greystone Country Club in Cabot, Arkansas. Tyler Quinn posted the best finish for the Weevils after shooting a 78 (+6) in the second round to end the tournament in a tie for 28th at +10 (154).
As a team, UAM shot 644 through two rounds to place 14th in the tournament.
Quinn finished both rounds in the 70s shooting a 76 (+4) Monday and 78 (+6) Tuesday placing him in a tie for 28th.
Andrew Pearson was the next best finisher for the Weevils in a tie for 44th after shooting 76 (+4) and 83 (+11) for a combined 159.
The next top scores for UAM came from Ethan Bearden who posted a combined 166 and William Sumner who finished with a total of 167. The pair landed in ties for 70th and 72nd in the tournament.
Rounding out UAM's five was Carson Garner who finished 84th in the competition.
