ATHENS, Ala. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello men's golf team finished sixth out of 10 teams at the Bulldog Bash Tuesday. The tournament was hosted by Union University at the Canebrake Golf Club.
UAM shot a collective 888 in the three round event finishing one stroke behind fifth place.
Tyler Quinn was the top player for the Weevils ending the tournament tied for 10th after shooting 73 (+1), 68 (-4) and 79 (+7) for a total of 220.
Andrew Pearson followed recording rounds of 72 (E), 78 (+6) and 71 (-1) for a combined 221.
The next two finishers for the Weevils were Carson Garner who tied for 30th shooting 225 and William Sumner who tied for 41st shooting 229.
TJ Baker rounded out the group for UAM landing in tie for 44th after posting a three-round total of 230.
A pair from the UAM women's golf team competed in the event as individuals. Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen finished 12th shooting a combined 231 and Shehna Akbary ended tied for 16th after recording a total of 233.
